Having grown up in Germany, I have lived in Austria since 2003 and became an Austrian citizen in 2020. Since 2006 I have been assistant professor of Liturgical Studies and Sacramental Theology at the Faculty of Catholic Theology at the University of Innsbruck. I work at the Department of Biblical Studies and Historical Theology.
The major fields of my research and interest are Gregorian Chant, Liturgy of the Hours, the Prayer of the Faithful, and Ecumenical Theology (especially concerning the Catholic-Orthodox dialogue).
I use this website mainly as a storage of videos I find interesting – many of them have nothing to do with my professional work. You can also find some further information about me and my research, all of which is currently exclusively in German. If you want to contact me or know more about my work, please have a look at my University’s website.
